Challenge

ETS needed an opening night that felt like the start of a national forum, not a standard hotel reception. Hundreds of education leaders, policymakers, and sponsors had to move through one ballroom without the room reading as a patchwork of competing zones.

Solution

We built the evening as a single guest journey: executive lounges, sponsor moments, and floral styling working as connected chapters rather than separate rooms. Stage presence and lounge layouts stayed clear so conversation could breathe while the conference identity held across the floor.

Scope

Conference production, lounge planning, sponsor styling, floral, furnishings, and onsite leadership at the JW Marriott Washington, DC. The opening set the tone for the multi-day ETS National Forum on Education Policy.
